I have the MOPAR CAI, on my 2010 RAM 5.7L. I average through out the year a little other 13 mpg. That is for the whole year. We have taken it on trips to Kentucky and also to Mississippi. I live just south of Toledo,Ohio. On the Hwy I average anywhere between 16.5-19.3. That is with 5 passengers and luggage. I have a bed cover, soft. I have running tubes and a bullbar. The best you can do is stay moving, use cruise control as much as possible. The city is no place for a pick up. Stop and go, you will never see any kind of good mpg's. I was considering a tuner/programmer since I have the CAI. I went with MOPAR, due to the clean matching parts. Trucks are at a huge disadvantage. They sit up high, air going under and over create drag= bad for mpg. Other than what I have told you and what others have said, it is a truck. Want better MPG, buy a smaller auto. Not trying to be a jerk, it is just the hard fact of the matter. I have the 4x4 BigHorn.
