well, first, i would say you need a mechanic that specializes in differentials. The front was no problem. The rear required us to take the carrier to a machinist (in this case, my stepdad) to have the carrier re-drilled to match the bolt pattern for the ring gear. everything else is the same but the carrier bolts and their pattern. Once the carrier was drilled, it was no problem. A few new bearings and it all went together perfect. Total cost including labor and tax was $1540. That's a decent chunk of change, but considering many here would spend $400+ on performance mod's like CAI's or mufflers that will make a slight performance difference, if any, this is a sure way to get a huge performance increase as well as better gas mileage.
