I guess I missed listing it above but the oil pump is a brand new Mopar Oil pump. The other thing is that this engine was running strong before the rebuild so no issues to transfer over. The lifters ticked on startup like all the others but nothing like this.

I have an oil routing drawing I can upload and post. There are tubes that run up thru the block and into the head. I had the heads and engine hot tanked and I chased the passages but one never knows what is hiding down the galleries in the head.

I may tear into my spare engine for research yet...
