Just a follow up. I don't have much info on it stopping the process but I'm sure it will. It just doesn't get cold enough to see it happen often here.

The spew remover from leather masters absorbed into the leather very nicely. I even put it on the center console lid and steering wheel (both black leather) but made sure to wipe off the excess on the steering wheel with a clean dry cloth.

I would even consider a second application as nice as it left the leather but don't know if there would be any consequences. The bottle doesn't say what the contents are or have any directions. I still have the leather care kit I bought from leather masters but am not going to use it yet as the leather is very clean and I only have 3,000 mi. on the truck.
