Do they even make that kind of lift for a 2WD?? Are you thinking a suspension lift/body lift combo? Regardless, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you put that much lift and that size tire on an 06 4.7L you will be lucky if it moves under it's own power. This is coming from a former owner of an 06. 4.7L. The 02-07 4.7L engines just don't have the oopmh. Mine was even geared 3.92 and still had difficulty maintaining 70 MPH on a slight grade without dropping a gear or sometimes two. It will help I guess that the truck you are looking at is 2wd and might help even more if it is a regular cab instead of quad but I still personally would not recommend it. My opinion is to take the pile of cash that you would spend on regearing the 4.7L and maybe even go with a slightly milder lift if you have to and buy a hemi truck.

Let me add that the 4.7L is a great little engine and in a 2WD regular cab truck in particular, especially if you could find one with the stock 3.92 gear, it would be more than sufficient I'm sure. Beyond that....well, I have already said what I thought about that above. Good luck!
