True, but there maybe a little confusion because of the model year comparison
pre-11 models 545RFE would only utilize 2nd prime in Tow Haul mode or manually shifting.
The evic has no digit 2nd pr so it actually reads "3", then incorrectly reads 4th when the truck is really in a 1:1 3rd gear ratio

The newer 11'-12' 65RFE is basically the same trans, but reprogrammed to use 2nd prime in the normal up shift sequence,
but it gets labelled as 3rd gear on the newer Rams evic and is a 1.5:1 ratio ....but you wont make to the end of the quarter in that gear
it will shift to 4th (1:1) long before the traps.

2nd prime (now 3rd gear in the 65RFE) was initially designed as a kick down "passing gear" because the drop from OD down to 2nd at 1.67 was too harsh from 0.75:1

545RFE:

in normal Drive mode:
1=1st – 3.00:1
2=2nd – 1.67:1
3=3rd – 1.00:1
4=4th – 0.75:1
5=5th – 0.67:1

When in ERS or Tow/Haul mode:
1=1st – 3.00:1
2=2nd – 1.67:1
3=2nd Prime – 1.50:1
4=3rd – 1.00:1
5=4th – 0.75:1

65RFE

1=1st – 3.00:1
2=2nd – 1.67:1
3=2nd Prime – 1.50:1
4=3rd – 1.00:1
5=4th – 0.75:1
6=5th - 0.67:1

...the 2nd prime shift is very short (1.67-1.50) shift and doesn't last very long, and rev's only drop to about 5k between shift)
so the truck, regardless of transmission will still be in a 1:1 at the traps.
