Default Heyas

There's nearly half a tank....Dangerously. I hated to put the meter on the plug terminals............. nearly 2 feet away from the open tank. Gas is NO FUN.
It sounds like the solenoid or electric switch at the throttle is failing..
Wish I had a factory spec on the windings of the pump motor.... as I mentioned. it reads approx. 4.9 load. maybe I'll wind up supplying 12 volts to see if the pump operates out of the tank. I just was'nt sure about supplying the whole 12v. I dont have a varible DC power supply anymore to start it lower......say at around 5volts and bring it up.
Hell. If the it pumps solo with 12 volts on it......I'm going for the solenoid. Just a hunch....cuz it 'sounds' like it's trying to do it's job and is restricted some how ........or just worn out. UM..Aight.. Looking forword to your post. thanks so much
