For two the guy I got it off of said that there was only 2200 of them made that year and I am wondering if that is true, and the last thing is how do I know if it is really an r/t? how do i know that he didnt just put an r/t hood and ground effects on it? overall it is a solid truck and i really like it. super clean for a 96 . just needing some more info on it. also it has a 318 (5.2) in it. It also has chrome headers that are mopar performance headers. I am wondering if those come on an r/t stock.
I think you have to post some pics as most of us only recall the Dakota R/T from the mid 90's. They made Ram Sports models towards the end of Gen II run around 2000 but I've had one Dakota and on my 3rd Ram since 1993 so if I can't recall it not sure who will.
