Air Ride Tech makes great products. It sounds like the OP isn't concerned with laying the truck on the ground so ART could be a good option. I say, from talking to people that have used the shockwave setup on cars, they love them. Most of the people I've talked to that used them on trucks didn't care for them, and swaped ou the Shockwave for a regular air bag shock set up. The biggest complaint they had was a lack of lift, and a harsh ride.

This is based on 2wd trucks. I honestly have no idea what you woud do to bag a 4wd. As a personal opinion I wouldn't bag a 4wd, because I would be concerned with losing the functionality of the 4wd. I see nothing wrong with doing it, but I think a custom suspension might be what's needed for a 4wd.

I do rember seeing an awd Escalade bagged several years ago that supposedly did keep the awd. I don't know who built it, and never saw suspension pics.
