Ok so going by the dates on your posts you painted this engine cover almost a year ago , right ? I saw someone say the paint would peel if you didn't put heat resistant paint as a base coat . So how is this holding up ? I assume that you used a air sprayer for this job ? Your post says you used :
1 can of Dupli-Color prep spray
1 can of Dupli-Color adhesion promoter
2 cans of Dupli-Color flame red
2 cans of Dupli-Color brilliant black
1 can of Dupli-Color clear coat
what size cans ? i.e. pint , quart ? Do you have to get this from the dealer ?
