Looks like they do stick out farther than the OEM ones.
The main bar sits right up against the rocker panel though.
I didn't like the gap between the truck and OEM bars.

Thanks for the picture, I think even though it sticks out a little more then then the factory, its only with the step part and not the whole thing. And I definitely like how they are up tight the cab and go the full length. And I decided today, that in the spring, Im going to do a 7 in lift so with the bigger tires they wont be as noticeable. Ive only had mine 4 wks, Im use to the low life, have a 1998 RCSB thats layed out, but 1/4 in from laying frame, so I think Im going to go up with this one. Thanks again, I think N-Fabs are in my future.
