the roads have never been a issue running american cars /trucks for me ,
the lack of power steering on the dodge charger and ford f100 pickup is what stands out as hard work
when it came to parking in small tight spaces here in the UK

its the price a petrol/gas here in the uk which is scarey
i got my ram converted almost 6 years ago to run on LPG
it was then 1/3 price of petrol
its now about half price of petrol
after runnin american cars and pickups since 1985 yer could say i never bought my motors for economy,
my hemi ram has now become mainley my weekend toy

the times have long gone when i would have 2 american V8s as daily transport
1988 till 2001 i had 2 american V8 allways taxed tested insured an ready to drive

this was mi other car

i sold the camaro
an got this caddy as my other car

sold the yellow transam an got this white transam

then sold both the caddy an the white transam
and had 2 black transams at the same time

sold one of my transams an got this 71 r/t440 charger

then sold the charger an got this z28 (embarassingly slow after the charger)

then sold the other black transam
an got this f100 as my work truck, been running american pickups around 20 years

sold the z28 ,got this transam as my other car (did 66,000 miles in the transam)

sold the transam an got this gmc

sold the f100 an got this chevy pickup

then sold the chevy pickup an got this ram (did 45,000 miles in the ram)

that was the last time i had 2 american V8s at the same time
then sold the gmc jimmy an got a little nissan 4x4pickup as a work truck
nissan been replaced with a little 4x4 toyota hilux as my work truck

just one V8 these days
done nearly 30,000 miles in the ram ,but a reckon from now on be only around 3,500 miles each year ,

did more miles (4300) in 17 days during march ,driving around some great american southern states, florida alabama mississippi louisiana arkansas tennessee
back down thru mississippi across gulf coast into florida :,than the miles in a year here in the UK
