It's a constant spin motor and only stops under resistance, so it doesn't matter where you place the motor gear on the regulator.

The spring has a tendency to want to take your fingers off. I'm pretty sure it has to be put in in the down position to assist the motor going up. Hopefully you only did one at a time and can reference the pass side.

It would have saved you a whole lot of time if I had read this earlier. The easiest way to do it all is to pull the vent window and track in the beginning.
