I see know one has an answer for this yet. I have the same problem though mine seems to be heat related. A/C runs great on highways. On hot days in stop and go traffic after about 20 minutes it shuts off. If the truck sits for about 45 minutes or so the A/C will start working again. The charge is full, I bypassed both the high and low cut offs, and replaced the control relay which still is pulling in even when it stops working. The engine shows normal temp even on the hot days and since the relay is staying engaged the PCM is not at fault. The only thing I didn't check is if there is 12 volts at the plug of the compressor when it stops working. I wish I could find a wiring diagram to see if I'm missing something. I also wonder of there is a thermal cut off in the compressor or clutch. I hope someone figures this out.
