This is by no means an expert response but I'll tell ya what I have learned from reading about lifting our torsion bar trucks.

For one, are you sure you want to raise the front and back by 2"? Only raising the front by about 2" will actually put the truck sitting right about level rather than at the factory nose down slant. Obviously, raising the back as well would keep the slant which I suppose you might want to do if you tow or haul semi-heavy loads frequently.

I don't know a lot about leveling blocks but I don't really see how they would cause any extra wear on your rear suspension.

As far as keys or cranking the torsion bars on the front, the most common side effect I have read about is a slightly stiffer ride. It is possible that you could induce slightly faster wear in the front because you are changing the geometry of the suspension components and therefore how they interact with other components, however, the generally accepted consensus seems to be that if you keep the lift to 2" or less you will be fine. Hope that is some help.
