R/T models have better suspension and brakes and top of the line engines in all incarnations. The R/T moniker has been around since 1967. The Ram R/T has a 4.10 gear standard and a better torque converter, I know that much. Some guys are buying R/T converters and installing them in their older Hemi Rams.
