lol the roomba is pretty good. If you have thick carpet it will probably get stuck though. Our whole house is tile with a few very thin throw rugs and it pretty much never gets stuck. Only if we leave like a phone charger laying around or something it will get caught up in that. It shuts itself off though so it doesn't really matter, just is a surprise when you get home expecting to have had it clean the whole house and it's greeting you at the front door with a phone charger lol.

Our house is about 1300 sf and it can do the whole house without emptying the tray. It can probably do it twice but we empty it every night and usually run it every morning. Obviously it isn't perfect, it vacuums like 75% of the hair/covers 75% of the floor. That's why I say we still vacuum once a week. It's well worth the ~$200 IIRC though. And easy to clean and everything.

And also we just found out it's very durable as the wife decided to drop it from counter height a few days ago, it still works lol.

Sophie's a good girl, went all night and didn't piss on the floor!
