I inherited my 97 Dodge Truck "Brown Betty" from my father in law and am committed to preserve this truck in his memory for as long as I can. I've had it 5 years now and am starting to run into maintenance issues.

Most recent - I hear a ticking noise coming from under the dash when I apply the brake. Ticks in sequence to wheel revolution. Stops when I lift my foot off the brake. Sounds more electrical than mechanical to me. I took it to my local mechanic and it needed new brakes so replaced front pads and rotors and flushed brake fluid and replaced. Ticking noise continues. Didn't make the noise for the mechanic . . .

Any ideas?
