Default Integrated Brake controller fixed for EOH?

Forgive me if this has been answered in another thread, but new to this posting thing. We have a 2010 2500 4x4 quad cab Laramie with all the bells and whistles. WE LOVE THIS TRUCK but when we got her with the integrated brake controller, it would not talk to our Airstream with Electric Over Hydraulic brakes. Dodge said we had to install another controller (we chose Tekonsha P3) as the integrated controller only worked with Electric brakes. Then we had to de-program it from the EVIC so that it wouldn't throw error messages when using the P3. The P3 works with either Electric or EOH brakes, but really loved the in-the-dash integrated controller. I am hearing rumblings on the Airstream forum that this problem has been fixed with later models and will only require a software update to make ours work again with the EOH brakes. Does anyone know if this is true? We had to practically sign our life away to get Dodge to de-program it from the EVIC (liability issues) and don't really want to re-program and have to de-program again if this hasn't been fixed. Has anyone done this on our year vehicle and have it work?
