This guy Josh on the other forum has a 2005 Ram, and his heads have shorter valve lengths than the 09's "and" make less hp. If it were posible to swap your heads out to these older heads then maybe you can do the swap in your 4'th gen Rams without clearance issues. But then you would be loosing hp with the head swap and gaining how much if any at all? I am not positive if the cam swap will work or not but I still don't think so. I am just trying to help prevent a catastrophe. I got some feed back from someone who just recently designed a set of badd ass heads (2X stronger than oem)for these things and this is what he said. Of the stock heads the 09 has the longest @ 5.175/5.125, 6.4 @5.135/5.100 and 03-08 @4.980 intakes but with different exh lengths of 4.950 and 4.925 and he doesn't seem to think it will not work either.
