CdnoilRAM is right about the thermostat, but when the engine gets hot, it robs HP. The Predator tune, the throttle body, exhaust, thermostat, and Cold Air Intake all work together to produce horsepower and increase gas mileage. The Predator has various tunes on it for different applications. Remember HP does not mean lower gas mileage. High Horse Performance sets up my Challengers. The last Challenger was 490 HP increased from the stock 425 HP. My gas mileage went from 15/20 to 16.5/22.5 on an unbroken in engine. Also, the standard 426 Strokers from High Horse Performance are 680 HP and get 27 MPG on the highway.
