@GT no weeping from water pump ALL hoses replaced (they were bulging real bad!) when the tstat and cap were replaced, back in March to be exact
And guys thank you OH SO MUCH its an EXPANSION TANK!
Anyway, I do run a 50/50 coolant mix. Prestone, for some reason, is the brand I always end up with. The hose that runs from the cap to and into the EXPANSION TANK is indeed submerged. The hose itself doesn't look too rough, the tank is kinda rough looking, but the coolant doesn't have debris in. it.I've checked up on that in the recent past also. I'm wondering if I change out the hose and tank if that will help...
