Default Replacing Muffler: NEED HELP!

I got my new muffler and now comes the fun of putting it on.

I removed both of the clamps (One on either side of the muffler), and tried to jimmy it off but to no avail.

Where Should I go from here? I was thinking to take off the back end of the exhaust (muffler back) and push the muffler off that way, but it seems like a lot of work. Would it be easier to pull of the intermediate pipe and go forward with the muffler? PLEASE HELP!!
