Higher octane doesn't equal more power. Actually the opposite is true. Octane is simply a chemical that resists pre-ignition. Becuase octane is an additive to fuel, vice fuel itself, the higher the octane, the less btu's available. IMO use a good quality fuel within the required octane rating, and save your money for those mods you want
