from what i have read and seen, the vp44 doesnt pump all the fuel out and the warm fuel that sits inside will eventually cause the circuitry to fail. i havent had any problems with it to date, but i have heard from multiple sources its only a matter of time until it does happen.
a buddy of mine applied the same concept to a dirt racer of his to keep his pump from clogging up. to me it seems like a legit way to make up for the vp44's lack of pressure thereby eliminating the frying of the electrical parts inside the pump. just was trying to see if anyone else had tried this.
