I have been using one for 7 years now. The chemical inside of it is a wax, and wrapping it in newspaper for a couple days will take off the excess. They also say that if it gets too dirty to wash it in a mild soap rinse and let dry. I wouldnt do this, as it removes too much of the chemical. I make one or two swipes per panel, then give it a hell of a shake for a couple secs. Just keep a good layer of wax on your truck, and it wont scratch it.
