Default Hemi please!

I know this isn't a diesel forum per se but MAN the Hemi Kool-Aid certainly makes the rounds here...

I have a pretty decent resume of vehicles, including several SRTs and an AMG. I just came out of a tuned F250 6.4 that dyno'd @ almost 550 HP/1100 torque. Hemi? PLEASE! Even at a full ton heavier my truck was high 12s/low 13s on a MILD street tune with a full tank of fuel, my fat azz, tailgate, subwoofer, spare tire...(street trim) and I would destroy about 99% of the gassers on this forum. And that was just with bolt-ons; tuner, intake and exhaust. Gawd forbid a truly built diesel (like UNBROKEN's ride for example) cross paths with some of y'all...but more likely than not those stories wouldn't make the light of day here.

I know all to well about diesel douchebaggery. Gigantic stacks, prosthetic testicles hanging from the trailer hitch, ridiculous stickers and overfueling like a bastard...I loathe them just about as much as everyone else. But unless you're lining up at the track or the dyno, give it a rest, street racing ain't the real thing, and while I won't preach about how dangerous it is, stupid is as stupid does...

I love my new Ram, Hemi and all, and I'm looking forward to tweaking it, but I'm realistic about its limitations too, which unfortunately some people don't get until they're on the wrong side of an azz whoopin'.
