The combination I'm looking at is below.
Moto Metal 951 Chrome Alloy Wheels 20" X 9" [HERE]
Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radials 35X12.50R20LT [HERE]
Bilstein 5100 Series - Ride Height Adjustable Shocks [HERE]
I dropped in to see my suspension/exhaust guy just this week to get his opinion/feedback [he's done ALL my previous rides] and he said my choices above wouldn't be a problem.
I'm most likely gonna' wait until early Spring 13' for install so as I can see out the winter on the OEM wheel/tire combination.
The Moto Metal 951 Chrome I had on my last leveled truck and loved them [they were wrapped with Toyo Open Country M/T]. The Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ I had on a previous GM pickup for a short while and was VERY impressed all-round with them. Finally, all my recent research has pointed me in the direction of the Bilstein 5100 Series as the "best" suited for my application this time around.
My previous 05' Ford Screw [HERE] & [HERE] was a weekender at best. I did some "mild" off-roading in it so ride comfort was never a priority for me as it wasn't my DD. This truck is my DD, so ride comfort is everything and then some. It's also [to some degree] the reason I'm staying away from the Toyo Open Country M/T's this time around and going for something a little more less aggressive ...... that and the fact that every truck owner seems to have them now.
Hope this helped.
Truck was sold today [5/19]. I got an offer I couldn't turn down. I had no more need for a pickup so I cut it loose. About to purchase a '14 Jeep SRT8 this week.
