Yeah Chillz is right, don't use premium unless it is recommended. Not only is it more expensive, which negates the reason to get better mpg anyway, but it is slightly harder to burn, thus robs some power. The reason there is premium is for high performance engines with high compression ratios. It needs to be slightly harder to burn to prevent predetonation. So you don't need it.

To help get better mpg, get a intake, exhaust, programmer and an electric fan. Those will be a real good start.
