In general the tire pressure listed on the door jam is a good starting point and pretty close to what you should run. The PSI requirement won't change based upon the tire size, the the volume of air will. The load rating and tire structure will play a role in how much pressure is needed for what you are looking for (tread wear, softer ride, hauling, etc).
The easiest way would be to chalk the tires, start at the recommended psi, then go up or down a few psi, then adjust from there.
