I agree. I replaced my original Michelins with BFGs. I had 275/75R20s and now I have 285/75R20s that are beefy as hell. A little bit loud but a great amount of grip on slushy and muddy terrain. Good on gravel and dry dirt too.
By the way, a recommendation to anyone, is that you never
ever go cheap on tires. Tires are the only thing that contact the road, so they make a world of difference. I've upgraded the tires on my Audi and on my crotch rocket and believe me they make you feel like you're driving/riding a new car/bike.
