Its depends also where you are, here in Quebec, we get super hot humid summers and our winters are sometimes killers, with all the calcium and salt they put on the roads in the city if you don't do this, in 5 years, you basically say goodbye to your vehicle, Everything becomes seized and rusted. My 12 year old grand Cherokee still looked new, and all the bolts you could remove easy. The guy who bought my Jeep is still driving it now and has had no issues with it. thing still looks new, but all the bolts have a cake of grease on them lol
