Now what exactly do you mean where your shifts 'hold longer'? I assume you mean you let the R's get up there more so before shifting ...such in tow/haul mode? I would really like to have a tuner be able to give me some nice crisp shifts...love that feeling. As to the mods - doesnt the truck already have a y pipe on it in the front? And the t-stat - I remember I have asked about this before but I cant remember why its better. Unless this truck is running upward of 250 lol. But in all seriousness a small block chevy's engine (with heat and expansion) is perfectly sealed at 220deg. I would think a hemi as well would run better above 180? Sorry I have been away from the forums for a bit lol.
