Default Brightes bulb in the stock headlight

Hope everyone's doing well. I'm looking for personal experience and probably preferences to the different 9007 headlight bulbs on the market. They range anywhere from under $20 bucks a pair to well over $100 for a kit. I'm not looking for a kit. I'd like to know what your experience has been with the higher end bulbs? Are they brighter? How long did they last? When they died, did you replace them with the same or go back to a standard bulb?
I'm looking to replace mine, and will be going "stock" until I can figure out if the "high end" is worth the extra money. I would like a better/ brighter/ more white light without replacing the entire headlight assembly. If you've got any suggestions, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks.
