yeah go to another dealer. We deal with this at least twice a week. It is covered under your powertrain warrenty. Bolts are prone to break, ford has the same problem. Its all down to heat expansion and contraction.
The ones that break flush in the head are 9/10 odds to drill out ok. but you get the odd one that becomes a pita, and sometimes the removal tool breaks in the head. So instead of spending 2 hours or more trying to drill it out, replace the head. It is not about job security for the tech to call the head, because a lot of the time when you do that, they dont pay us to do the manifold, so we lose out.
