Default 2011 ram sport Broken axle shaft?

hi there, I recently snapped my axle shaft along with taking out my caliper, backing plate, brake assembly, abs sensor, bearings, rotor, along with my pride haha. Anyways not feeling so hot about my ram right now, I do have 35s on it which I do understand is alot of weight/increased diameter but i was going under 20km/hr and bumped into something while turning under the snow. It was a very minor bump, so minor I tried to drive the truck forward/back many times before getting out and realizing the damage =[. I'm working out of town so had to waite 6 hrs in -20 for flatbed to come and drag is onto the deck :[[[ then tow to chrysler only to get hit with a $3980 estimate, no warranty.

What do you guys think? and has this happened to anyone else?
