Please correct me if I am wrong, my understanding of a VE injection pump with a mechanical fuel pump, the engine idling, is; the fuel lines from the fuel pump to the injectors will ALL have a positive pressure in them, leaks will be seen as a wet spot or drip. The fuel lines from the fuel pump to the fuel tank will have a negative pressure in them, leaks will not be seen and air can be introduced to the system. Am I correct in assuming that a VE injector pump, will not pull fuel? What about engine speeds above idle, does the same hold true??
