Well update folks. I now have the heads off and at the machine shop. The machine shop says they cannot find anything wrong with the heads. Seats are not loose, valve guides are in specs, etc. What else can there be??? The machine shop is saying Dodge says there is a fuel issue on certain cylinders causing lean fuel and heating that cylinder, making the valve stick, and making rocker fall off. That would make sense IF the rocker fell off when the engine is warm. The rocker falls off right after cold start. The new lifters did quiet the tap down to just a few seconds. I am so confused, and so is my mechanic. Also, local Dodge dealer doesn't want to share any advice, they're answer is bring it in and let us look at it.
