I don't understand why people like chasing ghosts. Not to be a jerk but:

THE LASH ADJUSTERS ARE HYDRAULIC. THEY NEED A LITTLE TIME TO GET PRIMED WITH OIL(KEEP IN MIND THEY ARE AT THE HIGHEST POINT ON THE ENGINE).

Once they are primed the lash closes and the noise goes away. It's really NOT an issue 99.9% of the time.
