DipYourCar claims after the Pastidip cures it becomes much more durable, they even run a car through a commercial car wash; it would be great if you could post a few times down the road to let us know how it's holding up?
It's holding up great! Only a few knicks from highway driving. But that's easily touched up by spraying some Plasti on your finger then "dabbing" the small chipped area. Dries on evenly!
It's smooth when you look at it, but up close it's clearly textured. Not smooth like how a Vinyl wrap would be.
And for differently:
- I wouldn't have taped off windows, it was a waste of time.
- Don't spray in poor lighting, as it makes you think a good job then the sun hits it and you see the flaws.
- Spraying in really cold weather (like 40deg) makes the Plasti horribly textured (bubbles) for some reason.
