4x4s just require so much more precision for front lowering (another pinion angle to think about)
Regarding wheels, watch back spacing, even the correct bolt pattern needs BS to work and center bore, that is what a 4x4 will make more difficult when looking at car wheels. I bet almost literally none will work because of hub bore.
I hope that helps, and doesnt make you wanna swallow a pistol in depression....the good news is if you get a wheel designed for the truck you know the fitment will be right, the weight was considered and the know trucks take abuse.....
