I had a Ready Lift 2.5 inch leveling kit and four 275/65/20 Hankook Dynapros installed with alignment. The truck looks great, BUT there seems to be a slight roughness to the ride now. Could it be the tires because they are aggressive and larger than stock, or the wheels/tires aren't balanced correctly, or the alignment is off? Should I have the tires rebalanced and a new alignment done, or is the difference I feel to be expected after the changes that I've made?
Tires could be over inflated, leveling spacer will stiffin up the front suspension, if you went from a smaller wheel to larger then roughness will increase too...
There is no pull in either direction. It's more like a feel of a tremor through the steering wheel as I accelerate. That's why I thought it may be a balancing issue. The wheels are the stock 20s. Tires are 65s, in place of the stock 60s.
Assuming your Dynapros are MT's that's probably why. Anytime I've put on new mud terrains they always feel different. Give them a couple thousand miles and they should get better too.
