My '97 with power adjust mirrors, needs it's driver side pivot tightened up. It's loose enough, that at 40 mph, it's usually flat against the door.
Am I correct in assuming that I need to take off the inside door panel to remove the mirror? I also assume there is a 'nut' to tighten a friction disk or something similar? If so, is there any hidden snaps or special removal techniques other than a 'typical' door panel removal?
LOL, I need all 'facilities' up to snuff for next months 'road trip'....
(you all are thinking...'Beverly Hillbilly')?? I won't have granny bungee strapped in the box though!
