We have a 2010 Ram 1500, with 56000 miles. Everything is fine until you get above 70 mph, then it starts to vibrate. Have balanced the tires, and rotated, with no luck. Tires have about 10,000 miles on them. Thanks Doug

I wondered about shocks, but don't know how to check them. Thanks for the reply.
The backs are easy to remove and check the rebound, a visual test for leaking can be done while installed. The front shocks on these Gen4 are a bear to remove. I have 30K mi on mine so it's about time for new Bilsteins.

doug, some good advice here, but in my experience, these speed specific vibrations always relate to tires. had the same problem in the 1990s on my gmc 1500 4x4. cheaped and bought hankook tires which was not a well known brand at the time. they balanced fine, but it turned out that 2 of the 4 tires were out of round. what tires are on there?
