Just be advised that this manual is in a .zip file so you will need WinZip or some other RAR based software to open the manual. Once you do, save the manual as a .pdf on your HD.
Just done the download & it's great. I can access all the Mechanical side but when i go into the Wiring it all comes up blank. Any ideas ???:4-dontknow:
Hey not too sure why the wiring diagrams arent working. Make sure your clicking on the wiring diagram tab otherwise it will just show the mechanical stuff.
Thank you so much for providing this information. I am doing a converstion from no fog light to correct bumper with fog lights. This seems to have a lot of the info I need. Thanks again.
I've downloaded the SVG Viewer but still no wiring diagramme. Menu appears on left but when i click on something it's just blank & sometimes just flashes.....:doh:my head hurt's.
Adobe website, locate SVG Viewer, d/l it using IE browser, you must set your security to low, then reboot your computer then d/l & install the Viewer
After it is installed, reset your security back to Medium or High, reboot again
of course you will have to click on APPLY & OK when your making the Security changes
Hi and thanks for the post . I downloaded it but can't get any of it to work.
After I unzip it I get a bunch of separate files. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I also tried to convert it to pdf but that didn't either.
I thought I was decent with computers ,but now I'm not so sure

There is a readme file with instructions plus I laid out the steps in another thread...unzip...view readme...download adobe svg plugin....create a shortcut on your desktop and set it up as per readme file!
anyone know where i can get a parts list in addition to the service manual (or is it part of this i cant find?) thanks cos i get a lot of runaround from the spare parts dept at my local Chrysler Dodge dealer in Australia
This is my first posting and I desperately want the service manual (Posted by "Sudsy" on 01-23-2011) for a 2009 Ram 1500 I just bought. I am trying to install an aftermarket keyless entry kit and need to identify wiring. I successfully downloaded and unzipped (I think) the files but I am having trouble opening Adobe SVG Viewer. I downloaded it and "Ran" it but I can't tell if its really running and, if so, how to access it from the "WinZip/Unzipped files" window. The only (barely) meaningful file I can open (WinZip/unzip folder) are two Graphics files (service manual-3.zip/service manual/en_US/2009/ds/si/graphics & wi/graphic) that have hundreds of jpg parts/wiring photo's. (there are two graphic files: one seems to contain parts and the other Wiring.) Even then I can only view the jpg files and can't view the svg files. I guess my question is how do I know if SVG Viewer is running. I am using Vista on this computer but I have the same problem on my XP Laptop. If anyone can help me with the proper steps it would be greatly appreciated.
