I use a Sony Alpha Nex 7 with a 55-300mm Lens, also have a few other lens' like the 18-55mm, 16mm wide angle and a fish eye lens which I'm about to start playing with lol
New here so please take it easy on me! )
I believe you have the SLT Big Horn model, correct? If so, did you change the front bumper cover? On mine both front and rear bumpers are chromed as well as the grill... that's about that only thing I don't like about my truck.
tires are 285/50/20, Its been too cold lately to try and paint the wheels. I plan on that project real soon. along with removing the steps and getting the rear bumper powder coated black.
Nope. I take my truck to the dealership for the oil changes I got when I bought the truck, no one has said a word to me, they even did my alignment when I dropped it
i had the same question, cuz where i bought my truck they lift them all the time so they just told me as long as its a quaility kit no issues!! i also use to work at this dealer so i know i will never have issues!lol
Ground Force 2/3 kit for 4x4
With newly installed 22" OEM Ram R/T wheels and 285/40/22 GY Forteras.
I'd like to go lower but it's a 4WD and I drive the truck year round in upstate NY.
I know this may sound stupid, but does the 2/3 mean two inches lower in the front and three in the back? Also 2/4, two in the front and four in the back?
here are a couple more recent pics after taking off the steps.
The dilemma i am having now is that the wife wants the steps back on. And I am trying to remove all the chrome form the truck. I was planning on selling the steps to make money to have the rear bumper powder coated. But it looks like now I may have to find another way to make a bit more money and have the steps and bumper done at the same time. The steps do fill the gap between the body and ground a bit more and give the appearance of sitting lower though.
but it looks so purty without steps, have you considered power steps? obviously expensive as hell but it works pretty damn well for your situation. You don't want them, but she does, you don't want chrome, they're not... you get where I'm going with this lol
im still waiting to see who brings out a lower then 2/4 kit for the 4th gens, McG says theyve had alot of requests but arent making anything yet due to the rear coil spring design!
If you want to go lower get some air bags. There's set ups out there that allow you to drop lower to the point where your tires and fenders almost touch, it's when you try to go past that you need to notch the back.
looks good Joe, mine looked a lot like that when I had my 20's on, I'm starting to think the BT kit drops a little more in the front compared to the MCG kit. Maybe it has to do with them using springs and shocks up front...
Here's mine. 2013 1500 Laramie. Dropped 2/3 from GroundForce/Shocks and coils.
Toyo Proxies 305 45 R22, Boss 338 22 X 9.5.
Of course it could be lower but.... the ride is still really nice... really nice and that is very important to me.
No rubbing what so ever - not even lock to lock. I did a bunch of homework- learned a ton from the Forumz and am really happy with the stance.
Truck looks great! thinking about dropping mine another inch but not sure yet. Nice to see you got yours nice and lowered for sure
Mine hasn't changed but here's a pic of it down in St. Augustine I took on my cell phone a couple weeks back. I've been slacking on mods as I've been working 12hrs a day for the past month.
