Default Hot wire on mirror plug for detector mount

I am installing a Blendmount radar mount on my 2012 Ram R/T. I need to know which colored wires to tap into on my rear view mirror electrical plug (1 for power when engine is on and 1 for ground). I have mounted these in several of my other vehicles, but I don't know the color scheme on the Ram truck mirror plug. The radar detector (Beltronics 955) plugs in with an 8" wire with 2 pins that stick into the connections on the plug in back of the rear view mirror. Anyone know which color wires I should tap into? Thanks.

Did you ever get a reply to this? I have an Escort 8500 I want to install the same way?

I am also wondering if you found anything out? I ordered an iRadar and I plan on mounting mine under the rear view mirror. I checked the connections on the mirror plug and it's pushing right around 14v so it should be okay for the detector. I ordered the wiring kit for it and it comes with a fuse on the hot wire....anyone know if I need that fuse or can I just connect straight from the detector to the mirror plug??

Is this the wiring harness you have?

I'm interested in the iRadar and would like to mount it in the same spot as well. I see that it comes with a cigarette lighter power cord, but is there a kit to hard wire it? If not I guess I could splice the cigarette lighter wires, but the idea of having a fuse in line on a hard wire kit makes me a bit more comfortable.

I have the RHB Garmin Nav and uconnect. If my iphone is connected to the iRadar and I get a phone call, and I answer that phone call using the uconnect, will my iRadar still be affective? I've spent a few minutes trying to google that info - but I haven't found anything on the subject. Any help would be appreciated!

Do these prices from Amazon seem ok? Are all Cobra hardwire kits compatible with all Cobra radar detectors?

I am planning on a crosscountry drive this summer and am looking for a "best for the money" option here. If anyone has other radar detector brand model options, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!
