Default towing RPM

Quick question
Have a 2010 Ram 4X4 Hemi CQ Ram and towing a 6800 (loaded ready to camp) fifth wheel. The truck tows great, no problems but it being the dead of winter, I am dreaming of camping and wondering...

What is the optimum RPM for the RAM while towing on flat highway at 100 km/hr or 60 MPH ?
What RPM is best for climbing hills? which speed?
new to towing so I don't understand much of this but does the tow/haul button change the speed on it's on when needed? how about when going down the hills? should I let the tow /haul do the work or do I need to downshift myself?
I have read that you should go down a hill the same gear you went up the hill. How do I know what gear I went down the hill? mine always show 5 no matter what the transmission does unless I change it myself.
