i wouldn't make it more difficult than it has to be. before you go through the effort of either:

1) paying an audio shop to do a custom hack job on your existing antenna
2) removing the copper receiver and fabricating a new fiberglass housing

just go to a local junkyard and get a flush mount antenna from a 2009-2012 truck and see if it will fit up to yours. it'll probably cost you $25 and an hour of your time. or it may be clear from looking at it that it won't work, but at least you will have exhausted the cheapest option.

I could be mistaken but I don't think the flat antenna that comes on some 2013's has Nav/Data. I belive it is strickly Am/FM/Satellite and comes with radio's lower then the 8.4A again I could be mistaken.

Go to a local shop who installs Radios and Nav systems and ask them to get you one, they must have all sorts of catalogs and things they can check, they probably have one in stock that you can install in place of the shark fin.

This is true. Gonna head to a local audio shop. I hate going to those places. I always feel like they're out to rape me

If it were not for the Hole in the roof
Satellite Antennas can be mounted right on the windshield, without a hole in the glass

my '99 chevy 1/2 ton, had it & i hardly ever lost reception, it was mounted in the bottom left corner of the windshield

my '09 Ram satellite antenna is mounted directly on the roof, rear right side corner, i can't drive under a big tree without losing reception

Called a shop. The guy said the only replacement would have to be something from Mopar. Aftermarket antennas won't work with the stock system. The antenna can however be relocated. I'd just be left with some holes I'd have to silicone.... Hmmmmm....
