Just to give a heads up, All new Tunes or updates for Ram Trucks occur on the Thursday of the week. That being said, Last week Bully Dog said they were finishing up the new tunes for the Jeep's and that they are still working on the tunes for the 2013, the slow down, as was the issue for the 2011 and 2012 is the transmission part. Last Week, Austin said very soon, to the sounds of probably have it sorted out by the end of this coming month. The thing about this 2013 tune is that the ECU is using the same encryption as the 2012, but they changed a few things, also, they need to get the 8 speed setup. Hopefully it will be out soon, I know I love my truck now, the way she shifts now I have no more complaints, can't wait to finish this tank of gas and use the 91+ tune.

Let us know what you think with that 91+ tune

Thanks

yup, hopefully I can get my tank empty soon, lmao, oh but I will tell you, the more this tune runs, the more the truck seems to have this getup and go, I am thinking here that the engine is now learning again how I like to drive and is implementing its new tune with it. JMO but this is what I have been feeling each time I have been taking the truck out since the install of the new tune. Sort of like when you first bought the truck, it had to learn how you was driving. I might be wrong, but its a thought.

I'm a former SRT8 owner and I was always a Diablo fan
Wondering how the Diablo and Bullydog programmers differ for the 11-12 ? Anyone leaning towards one being the better choice on the 5.7 ?
I have a 2013 myself and I am patiently waiting for tuning

Right now what people are saying is the Bully Dog tunes are better than Diablo's, but, there is a few others selling the Diablo with there tunes, and those have been said to be better than Diablo's Original tunes. But, the Bully Dog as much as it has many options, its not as versatile as Diablo's options, so what is being said is if your not going to change much on your truck like cam's and headers etc, your better off with the Bully Dog, if you want a lot of tunability, and you will eventually add other stuff to your engine, then Diablo is your choice. I am not talking about free flow exhaust or CAI, but more stuff like cam's and headers etc.

If they plan on holding the release till they can develop it for the Hemi 8spd, it will be a while since they will not hit dealers till the end of March at the earliest. Add time to figure it out and test, you are looking at a couple of months from now at the earliest. Unless they release what they have now and add 8 spd support at a later date.

Wonder when the EPA will shut the Gasser tuner guys down just like they did with the Diesel tuners? These are not CARB certified either.
